I was recently invited to be the inaugural guest on the Geekster Geek Out show to talk about my love of Lunchboxes, both vintage and modern. The show is hosted by my bud Adam Pope of the Wizards Podcast and the Thrift Store Horde to name just a couple of his projects, and the idea is to give folks a space to geek out about something that they love that they don’t get many opportunities to talk about. For me, though I’ve been steeped in the nostalgic community for a couple decades online, my love of lunchboxes just isn’t something that I’ve ever really gotten to write or chat much about. So if you want to watch me wax poetic on what it was like being a “soup kid” growing up, coveting other kid’s rad lunchboxes, and one of my favorite modern nostalgia merchants, 8 Bit Zombie, then head on over to youtube and hit play already!
